An article published by the BBC this week highlights a proposal from Warrenpoint Port to dump dredged waste in the Lough.
The current dumping location for this material is 16 miles from the shores of Carlingford Lough.
This has been the response from local environmental activists, Love Your Lough, on the destructive effect that this will have on the wildlife of Carlingford Lough.
