New Business Opening: A good sign

This is a good news story of progress and development in Warrenpoint.

We are all delighted that Northern Ireland is opening back up again after a pretty harsh Lockdown – so this news could not come at a better time for Warrenpoint and County down (Did someone mention a Staycation!)

Warrenpoint Town Centre hosts the opening of not just one but two new hospitality outlets:

Taboo Donuts

Taboo Donuts is opening on the ground floor of the former Northern Bank building on Queen Street.

The building can be found opposite Warrenpoint Municipal Park (awww the poor parents going to the Park – “can we get donuts” will be all we will hear now… can’t beat them so join them!)

Ciao by Genoa

Ciao is opening at the site of the old Glenmore shop and is described as a gelato bar!

You will also be able to grab a coffee at Ciao.

Warrenpoint: a Coffee Mecca

Ciao will be serving us up Root and Branch – a Belfast based micro roastery.

Root and Branch pride themselves on being “committed to the wellbeing of our farmers, the land, and of course your coffee experience

Fancy a cuppa tea (ah go on you will!)

Ciao is serving Suki Tea – a Belfast Boutique Loose Leaf Tea Blender!

You can almost taste the passion Suki have for what they do:

 – our Belfast-based team still ethically sources and blends our big, fat, juicy, loose leaf teas, herbal infusions and fruit blends from all over the world –

It does the heart good to see creativity and passion going on here in our part of the world and that spreading it’s wings down to our part of the world!

Warrenpoint is really becoming a mecca for Coffee and Tea Lovers with such great cafes – Church Lane, Bric Cafe, Leafy Green, Fullabeans, Delilites and the Zone!
